Crane Plastics is a family owned and operated business, started in 1996 - operating from a 2000 sq.ft unit in Northampton. Developing a firm reputation for quality and reliability in providing machined and fabricated plastic components to a wide range of industries such as but not limited to: Specialist food, Packaging and check weighing Motor Industry Power (nuclear and none nuclear) Aerospace Oil & Gas Water Purification Point of Sale / Display Material Handling Pharmaceutical General engineering. From its infancy Crane Plastics has constantly evolved and developed, investing in their first new CNC router in 2004 and first laser cutter in 2006. By 2008 it was time to move. The business had out grown its first premises. The need to offer a wider range of services & materials due to the increased business led to further investment in equipment. The business moved to Sywell, Northampton to a unit of 7,500 Sq. Ft. This move, though daunting at the time led to further growth of the business, having worked through some difficult periods for British Manufacturers, Crane continued to develop and thrive. In less than 10 years, it was time to move again. In 2017, we conducted a full business review and as part of the plans to keep developing Crane Plastics we moved to Brixworth in Northamptonshire at the end of 2017, expanding our manufacturing area from 7500 Sq. Ft. to 30,000 Sq. Ft. From the purchase of our first CNC Router in 2004, the expansion of our equipment list makes impressive reading. The expertise to operate in support of our clients`s needs is constantly developing too.
